Texas Tech on Thursday announced a contract extension for baseball coach Tim Tadlock that runs through the 2022 season. The Tech Board of Regents approved the contract on Thursday.
“Tim Tadlock is one of the most respected and best coaches in college baseball and we’re pleased to be able to extend his contract,” Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt said in the announcement. “Having a former letter winner lead our baseball program to this level of success on the national stage is truly special. We look forward to celebrating continued success for Texas Tech baseball.”
Tech has clinched the Big 12 Conference regular-season championship outright and is 38-13 going into its final regular-season series that starts Thursday.
